START SAVING FOR CHRISTMAS!

You say seriously right?  I am the person that hates Christmas stuff coming out right after (even before) Halloween!  That being said, with the current economy, it is important to start saving and/or buying NOW!  I thought I would share a few ways to help you and your budget for Christmas!  This year we will be focusing on the True Meaning of the Christmas Celebration, in other words putting Christ back into the focus and leaving "mas" (which in spanish can be translated to mean more) out! 

One of the ways I am saving is Swagbucks (which is a search engine that pays you to search!)  You download their tool bar and they will pay you anywhere from 5 to 100 Swagbucks.  Those Swag Bucks can be redeemed for gift cards.  For example 450 Swag Bucks = $5 Amazon Card!  Go here to join!  You will get 30 Swag Bucks to Start Off!

Toys R Us is offering a program if you put money on a card now thru Oct 16th they will add 3% to the amount!  You just go to the register and put the amount you want (you can do this as many times as you want) until October 16th.  On October 31st you can start shopping!  Go here for Christmas Savers Club!

You can also take a set amount out of each paycheck and place into a "Christmas" fund!  Some people might save the money you saved using coupons!  Another great way is to deposit rebate checks into your "christmas fund"!  The most important thing is do what will work for you so that in December your budget does not take a hit!
